Your email address
Sign up with an email address you already use, and choose a password. We send one message to that address with a link, and opening the link confirms the address is yours.
What you need
A way to sign in
To join, you need a verified email address of your own. You can also sign in with Google or Discord.
Google or Discord
Sign in with a Google or Discord account you already have. Your Google or Discord password is never shared with Savage Tech.
Passkeys and YubiKey
Once you have joined, you can add a passkey or a hardware security key such as a YubiKey and sign in with that.
You can use more than one of these on the same account. Adding a passkey or a security key never switches off your password.
Membership
What members do
Savage Tech is built with the people who show up for it. Members have a say in what gets made next.
We use your email address to sign you in and to send account messages such as password resets. The newsletter is separate, and you only get it if you ask for it.
As a member you can
- Vote on questions put to the community.
- Send in ideas for the lore.
- Send in work for art challenges.
- Earn a community rank on the FCN ladder, with its insignia.
- Earn badges for taking part.
- Keep a public profile, if you choose to switch it on.
